Spark creativity, problem-solving, and innovation! Minds in Motion is a dynamic, hands-on summer camp where young learners explore the Design Thinking process through exciting activities like ChompSaw (kids friendly tool) cardboard working , maker projects, Strawbees engineering, LEGO Robotics, and Sphero coding. Campers will imagine, prototype, and build real projects while developing critical thinking and teamwork skills. Whether they’re designing structures, coding robots, or bringing ideas to life, this camp is the perfect place for curious minds to explore, create, and grow!

Early exposure to STEM concepts can spark inspiration for future careers. Our camp cultivates curiosity and passion, laying the groundwork for future learning and exploration

There will be 5 2-week sessions across multiple age groups. We have the perfect program for your student, regardless of what grade level they're in.

Camp Session Dates: June 2 - Aug 8, 2025 (off on 7/4)

Session 1: 6/2 -13
Session 2: 6/16 - 27
Session 3: 6/30 - 7/11 (no camp on 7/4)
Session 4: 7/14 - 7/25
Session 5: 7/28 - 8/8

Camp Hours: 8:30 - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Extended Care: 4:30 - 6:00

Camp Grade: TK - G5

Fee:

Full Day Camp: $1,500/session (Camp Shirt, Field Trip, Snack, Lunch, and PM Snack included);
Half Day Camp: $800/session (AM/PM)
Field Trip: $100 per trip (for Half day campers only)
Lunch + snack: $100/session (for Half Day campers only)

Discount:

$100/50 session off (full/half day): sign up before April 1, 2025
$50/20 session off (full/half day): sign up before May 1, 2025
$50/session off (full day only):sign up 1+ sessions
$50 registration fee will be credited to Afterschool students (new and existing)

Design Thinking Process

It is a problem-solving method where kids, like little designers, listen to peoples's needs, brainstorm ideas, create models, and test them to find the best solution.

Lego Robotics/Sphero

Our camp cultivates curiosity and passion, laying the groundwork for future learning and exploration, using Lego Robotics & Sphero activities to early exposure to STEM concepts can spark inspiration for future careers.

ChompSaw™

It's a kid-friendly power tool for young makers which is great for kids for building creative projects and ideal for making models, structures, and prototypes. It helps kids explore engineerint ane hands-on problem-solving.

Math Kangaroo/Reading

It is an internation math competition. It focuses on logical reasoning, problem-solving, and creative thinking rather than just standard math skills. We focus on fun, engaging word problems that requires critical thinking.

Strawbees™

It's a hands-on building system that uses colorful flexible plastic straws & connectors to create structures, designs, and models. It encourages creativity, problem-solving, and STEM skills through interactive play.

Field Trips

Field Trip is always a highlight of the camp. On the 2nd Friday of the camp, students will go on a field trip to a local museum, such as the California Academy of Sciences, or the San Francisco Exploratorium,..
